Aiming

I’ve seen quite a few rules snippets dealing with aiming. This is my take.
Aiming can be done against a zone or against a specific body part.
Table of contents
1. Aiming at a zone
There are four zones: lower body, upper body, arms and head. Trying to aim at a zone results in a negative modification to the effective attack skill, this modification is in addition to any other modifications that might apply (e.g. attacking from above or from the rear). This rule is applicable to humanoid creatures mainly; the lower and upper body zones can be used with almost all types of creatures though.
| Zone | Hit location roll | Modification |
|---|---|---|
| Lower body | 1d10 | −10 |
| Upper body | 1d10 + 10 | −10 |
| Arms | See hit location table | −15 |
| Head | See hit location table | −25 |

| d10 | Location |
|---|---|
| 1–3 | Chest |
| 4–6 | Right arm |

2. Aiming at a specific body part
If a character subtracts 50 percentiles from his effective weapon skill he may specify the exact hit location he wants to hit.
